Hotel description and useful information for travellers

Children and extra bed policy

Children of any age are allowed. An extra bed for children 18+ years costs 15 USD per night.

Cleanliness

Mixed reports: many guests call rooms clean, but a few describe very poor conditions (one calls it a 'topaia'). Overall cleanliness is acceptable but uneven across rooms.

Service

Staff frequently described as friendly or helpful and responsive (e. g. , brought an iron on request); some guests found staff polite but not very warm. Overall service is a clear positive.

Location

Location in Koreatown is repeatedly praised (convenient, near shops/7-Eleven); parking garage available. Location is a strong asset.

Room Quality

Mixed room quality: some upper-floor rooms are updated and comfortable, while other rooms are worn/outdated with broken hangers, torn curtains or incorrectly assigned rooms during renovations.

Amenities

Amenities are noticeably degraded during renovation: lobby stripped, no breakfast, no coffee or vending in some stays; some expected amenities absent or limited.

The Koxie Hotel, previously known as Rotex Hotel, embodies modern, chic accommodation in the lively Koreatown district of Los Angeles. It features 50 contemporary, spacious guest quarters with flat-screen TVs, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, mini-fridges and coffee machines, a 24/7 front desk, Hong Yeon restaurant and Café Yeon.
