Hotel description and useful information for travellers

Cleanliness

Generally reported as clean despite somewhat dated rooms; one comment noted rooms are clean ('清潔です'), though some guests found rooms a bit dark or older.

Service

Staff described as friendly and helpful (assisting with luggage, reservations, room continuity and lost-Uber inquiries). Some guests noted Japanese-speaking staff available, though at least one interaction was English-only.

Location

Very strong location: in Little Tokyo, close to metro (A line), within walking distance to Dodger Stadium transit and many Japanese restaurants — repeatedly praised for convenience and safety.

Room Quality

Mixed room feedback: some rooms described as stylish and roomy, but multiple guests reported issues (dark rooms, shower head/pressure problems, occasional lack of hot water).

Amenities

Good on-site amenities cited: Japanese-style toilets, water server, ice machine, microwave, compact conveniences for travelers, plus wine time and breakfast services appreciated by guests.

Value for Money

Some concern about price-quality ratio (one review explicitly lists this as a con); overall value slightly lower despite location and service strengths.

One of the few 3-star hotels in downtown Los Angeles, our Japanese-themed hotel is your ideal getaway in the Little Tokyo district. Experience the perfect blend of traditional comfort and modern convenience at Miyako Hotel Los Angeles. Miyako Hotel Los Angeles offers 174 beautifully appointed guestrooms filled with modern amenities and unique features like Japanese-inspired heated water bidets. Two restaurants: Tamon Restaurant and Okayama Kobo Bakery & Café.
